CINE DOF ADAPTER allows 35mm & 50mm lenses to be used with DV or HD camera and gives staggering depth-of-field, angle of view, and focus typically found in high-end film productions. The results are astonishing with this CINE DOF ADAPTER. When a lens focuses on a subject at a distance, all subjects at that distance are sharply focused. Subjects that are not at the same distance are out of focus and theoretically are not sharp. However, since human eyes cannot distinguish very small degree of unsharpness, some subjects that are in front of and behind the sharply focused subjects can still appear sharp. The zone of acceptable sharpness is referred to as the depth of field. Thus, increasing the depth of field increases the sharpness of an image. So to get a proper depth of field in photography we have to use an CINE DOF ADAPTER.

PROAIM Follow Focus has adjustable locking system to be attached directly to 15mm rods (60mm center to center difference). The gear box is sealed and has a backlash 1.8° approximately. This Follow Focus has the ability to mark the focus points and move the ring slowly and accurately which makes this unit a great addition to any dramatic shoot and the ability to use a whip or speed crank.
